Maktabi – Creative Office Spaces was founded on the ethos that community is important. Specifically, that the creative community is important. A space that values privacy, while encouraging collaboration and exchange. You can have your own, fully-furnished private office starting today. Belonging to Orient for Film and Theatre Productions, this project is heavily informed by the arts. But Maktabi
goes beyond our mother company’s world of arts and culture, welcoming individuals and organizations working in the creative sector at large. Fashion, film, theater, advertising, journalism, architecture, music, design; the list is long and wide. Our aim is to create a vibrant and eclectic community within Maktabi. One that compliments, challenges, and supports each other. Our workspaces are designed by different interior designers to give each a unique identity. Along with a fully-furnished office, your long-term rental package is all-inclusive, with commitment being flexible. You can rent a space for a month, or for a year. In addition to our permanent tenants, we also welcome visitors to rent out the meeting room by the hour for meetings, workshops, and photo/video shoots. The setup allows for up to 12 people to sit comfortably around the table, in rows, or separately in order to accommodate for workgroups
Beyond our primary function of offering workspaces, Maktabi’s aim is to nurture the different nooks and crannies of the creative community. Stay tuned for our workshops program launching in 2021, right out of our meeting room.
