Within the efforts of the Egyptian Ministry of Justice to develop the work dynamics in the Egyptian courts, and to achieve the country’s 2030 vision, a collaboration was developed between Link Development Co., the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) and Microsoft to launch the digital courts platform. The initiative is based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 technology and is intended to manage court cases for the economic courts in Egypt, and to create a more efficient and transparent system, as well as accelerate the court procedural steps through a user-friendly portal.

يعد قانون الاستثمار رقم(72) لسنة 2017 م وقانون الشركات رقم (159) لسنة 1981م وتعديلاته بموجب قانون رقم (4) لعام 2018 الشريعة العامة لتأسيس الشركات (المساهمة والتوصية بالأسهم وذات المسئولية المحدودة) في مصر، و ينص على جميع قواعد ولوائح حوكمة الشركات، وينظم الإدارة والمسائل المتعلقة بالرقابة والواجبات الائتمانية والسياسات المالية؛ كما يضع شروط تنظيم عمل الشركات مثل اجتماعات مجلس الإدارة، والاجتماعات العامة العادية وغير العادية، ويجوز للمستثمرين الأجانب تأسيس شركة بموجب قانون الشركات أو قانون الاستثمار.

The Egyptian Companies Laws No. (72) of 2017 and No.(159) of 1981 and its amendments per Law No. (4) of 2018 provide the basis for all regulations pertaining to the establishment of all types of companies in Egypt establishment (such as joint-stock companies, limited liability companies or partnership companies). The law provides the operating vehicle for the corporate governance, and regulates the management and control as well as all credit and financial policies of companies. It also provides the regulatory system for the companies’ operational system, such as board meetings and general assemblies. Additionally, the law also enables foreign investors to set up private companies in the country.
