Model of International Criminal Court 2011 (MICC 2011) will be the first model focusing on Law students and graduates to equip the future lawyers and advocates with the essential knowledge and skills needed in the legal field. MICC 2011 gives Law students and graduates a chance to know more about the International Criminal Court, its system, how it functions and the previous cases of the ICC, as well study Humanitarian Law, Human Rights and International Criminal Law beside others. MICC 2011 will host speakers and events of extinguished professors and Doctors to help students and graduates out to get to know more about the Law field in Alexandria and Egypt in general as well internationally. MICC 2011 will focus on delivering different skills and knowledge to students and graduates of Law Faculty such as Legal Writing, Rhetorical skills, negotiation skills and conflict resolution fully accustomed to Lawyers field of work through sessions and workshops. Beside the workshops and sessions of the MICC 2011, the model will host extra circular activities and events, such as debate events, networking and much more. Why to join as a staff member:

Whether you are interested in becoming an Academic Committee, Logistics, Media & IT design or an external relation member, you will be in a learning environment trained to work on an administrative field, based on team work, harmony and equipped to handle with different situations and work under pressure. We urge who believe to be in himself\herself a hard worker, a team member and see a potential in themselves to handle administrative work to apply in the different committees of the Model.

As a participant, you will have a full training course specially dedicated and accustomed to Lawyers, equipping you to work in the legal field afterwards, through workshops and sessions you will get the chance to study different subjects, as well gain new skills that will help you out in the work field. As well, you will have the ability to join the events and the activities parallel to the model, where it will enhance your network and your extra circular activities. If you perceive yourself as a committed person, eager to learn, participate in discussions, a team player and a hard worker person, we encourage you to apply as a participant in the Model.

Today, MICC 2011 participants successfully made it through their moot court regarding a case of USA war on Iraq, ending up with the court taking their decision to accuse George W. Bush, Condaleza Rice, Tony Blair, Ricardo Sanchez and Donald Rams field with crimes against humanity and war crimes for different sentences ranging from 10 to 30 years in prison.
