BUYING A PROPERTY IN ECUADOR?

My advice:

1. Obtain a Deed for a property for the real value. Many people may encourage you to buy property with less money on the Deed.

2. Do not make a property purchase or rental based only from the property photos that you have seen online. When you reach Ecuador, you may find that they do not match what is advertised on the website and you may have serious future problems.

3. Before purchasing a property, have a professional check the history of it, so you can be aware of possible pending lawsuits, liens or any other legal impediment you want to build a house or some other building in Ecuador, it is best that you be present. You need personally check the progress and quality of the construction and control the spending of the budget that was established.
