If you're visiting Costa Rica this September, make the trip to Costa Ballena!

The waters off Uvita, Dominical, and Ojochal are some of the best places on earth to witness humpback whales up close, and there is truly nothing quite like it.

Humpback whales travel here from Antarctica between July and November, using our warm, calm waters to mate, give birth, and nurse their newborns. September is when the season peaks in our area.
