Our partner, Mariana Camacho Ordóñez, participated yesterday as a panelist at the 2026 ABA ILS Americas Conference in Mexico Coty, organized by the American Bar Association.
She joined the panel “Navigating the Limits of Business Cooperation in Generative AI: Antitrust Perspectives Across the Americas,” discussing key competition law challenges in generative AI, including the line between pro-competitive collaboration and exclusionary conduct, as well as interoperability and data access in concentrated markets.
The panel brought together a distinguished group of speakers, including Michael Lawrence, Sara Gutiérrez, Fernando Carreño Nuñez, and Javier Etcheverry Boneo, who, together with Mariana offered a rich, comparative discussion across jurisdictions in the Americas.
We are proud to contribute to these high-level international discussions on competition, technology, and innovation.
