Menace de mort contre l'avocat en chef Ndong Christopher Nveh, secrétaire général du Cameroun Renaissance Movement (CRM)
Le 9 juillet 2020 vers 21h00, cinq (5) hommes, dont deux (2) en tenue civile et trois (3) autres en tenue militaire, se sont approchés de la résidence de l'avocat en chef Ndong Christopher à Buea, le capitale régionale de la région du Sud-Ouest, demandant à louer un immeuble appartenant à l'avocat.
Sur place, les cinq (5) hommes ont été reçus par le fils de l'avocat Ndong Christopher qu'ils ont rencontré dans la maison.
Les cinq hommes ont dit qu'on leur avait dit qu'il y avait un studio à louer et qu'ils voulaient le voir. Mon fils les a emmenés au studio juste à côté. Immédiatement, mon fils a ouvert et est entré dans le studio, on lui a immédiatement dit, à bout portant, de donner le numéro du propriétaire dudit immeuble.
Deux des hommes armés qui étaient habillés de manière responsable ont dit à mon fils que s'il refusait de donner le numéro, il lui ôterait la vie.
À la pointe du fusil, il a donné le numéro et ils ont saisi son téléphone. Le téléphone a immédiatement été saisi en raison d'une batterie faible, ennuyé d'avoir renvoyé le téléphone de mon fils, informant qu'ils savaient que cet immeuble appartenait à un avocat de Yaoundé et que mon fils devrait leur dire quand je viendrais à Buea. Mon fils a dit qu'il ne savait pas, car je viens toujours souvent à Buea sans préavis.
Ils sont repartis avec colère en promettant de revenir tous les jours. J'arrive à Buea.
Ce récit est destiné à informer la communauté nationale et internationale que ma vie est menacée par des inconnus armés dans la région du Sud-Ouest.

Threat to life on Chief Barrister Ndong Christopher Nveh, the Secretary General of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM)
One the 9th of July 2020 at about 9:00pm, five (5) men, two (2) of them in civilian attire and three (3) others in military attire, approached the residence of Chief Barrister Ndong Christopher's residence in Buea, the regional capital of the South West Region, requesting to rent a studio building owned by the Barrister.
On the spot, the five (5) men were received by the son of Barrister Ndong Christopher whom they met in the house.
The five men said they were told that there is a studio for rent and wanted to see the studio. My son took them to the studio just nearby. Immediately my son opened and entered the studio, he was immediately told at gun point to give the number of the owner of the said building.
Two of the gunmen who were responsibly dressed told my son that if he resist giving the number they will take life out of him.
At gun point he gave the number and they seized his phone. The phone immediately seized due to low battery, annoyed they threw back my son's phone informing that they know that this building is owned by a Barrister from Yaounde and that my son should tell them when am coming to Buea. My son said he does not know, because l always l do often come to buea without notice.
They angrily left promising to be back anyday l arrive buea.
This narrative is to inform the national and international community, that my life is under threat by unknown gunmen in the Southwest region.
