Voter registration closes soon! You can still register online but not for much longer.
On election day, you may only vote at the voting station where you are registered.
In preparation for the national and provincial government elections in 2024, and for any by-elections that may take place to elect a new municipal councillor in your ward, you need to register in the voting district where you live.
In order to qualify to vote you must; be
1. a South African citizen;
2. 18 years old; and
3. have a green, bar-coded ID book; smartcard ID; or valid Temporary Identity Certificate (TIC).
