Heads up, Express Entry candidates — your CRS score is about to change.

Starting November 3, IRCC is awarding new CRS points for Canadian work experience or a qualifying job offer in a high-wage occupation (think engineers, electricians, and similar roles). And here's the big one: you no longer need an LMIA for a job offer to earn those points.

What you need to do:
- Already in the pool? Your score gets recalculated automatically — nothing to do.
- Want the job-offer points? Update your profile BEFORE November 3 with complete, accurate job-offer details.
- Expect draws to pause for up to two weeks while the switch happens.

One honest caveat: IRCC hasn't published the exact yardstick for "high-wage" yet. That's exactly why a professional eligibility check matters right now — before the rules shift under your feet.
