Today, on Orange Shirt Day, we honour Survivors, families, and communities affected by residential schools.

Today is a day for reflection – on honouring the Indigenous children who were taken and the lasting harm of residential schools that continues to affect Survivors and their communities, and on the ongoing work of Truth and Reconciliation.

Every child matters.

Our work with parents and mediation participants is based in listening to parents, their counsel and each other with humility and empathy. We will continue this learning journey as part of our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation and to supporting reconciliation in our community.

So excited that Suzor Mediation was the Gold winner of Community Votes Windsor for mediation services in 2023 and now 2024. Along with my other mediation business, Bridging Family Conflict, we have a passion for helping families separate as well as possible under difficult circumstances. Congratulations to the rest of the team at Bridging Family Conflict for winning Platinum as well, and to the other winners.

Divorce and separation do not have to involve court and adversarial proceedings. Starting with mediation helps most families avoid that altogether. Although we hope none of you ever need us, we are here if you do!
