Deborah Duiker Realtor Helping You Build Your Dreams, One House at a Time About Me
I’ve been there… buying and selling a home. I’ve bought and sold 4 homes over years.

It wasn’t until I became a real estate agent did I realize there was so much about the process that I didn’t know; I wasn’t educated. Land transfer taxes, surveys, market value, inspections, renovations… the list goes on. Back then I crossed my fingers and hoped the purchase of my new home would all work itself out. My Goal
My goal is this: to help you be the most informed and educated consumer in

today’s market of buying or selling homes. When you make that decision to buy or sell, I will ensure that all your needs are met in a caring and professional manner. My experience and dedication to staying on top of current real estate trends allows me to provide you with uncompromising service and dependability with a personal touch. On the Personal Side
Real estate is a full time career for me, and I enjoy ever minute of it. I was a small business owner in the Cambridge area for over 7 years and have lived in the region for over 15 years. I am also proud to say that I am an active ladies fastball player in the region. After 25 years of playing the game, I took on the leadership role in 2008 of the Kitchener Waterloo Ladies Fastball League President. It has been a challenging yet rewarding position so far. My goal is to grow the league during my tenure, and ensure women in the region can enjoy the game for years to come. My Commitment to my Clients
As a professional, I pride myself in taking care of my clients and their needs. I have practical knowledge, tenure and insight to help my clients accomplish their goals. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest investments you will ever make. I completely understand the risks and the emotional stress it can generate. Real estate transactions can be complex and completely frustrating at times. I assure you that through the entire process, I will be there to answer your questions and concerns and my number one priority is helping you achieve your goals and dreams. Communication is the key to any successful relationship. I look forward to working with you.

Waterloo just passed a new bylaw aimed at stopping “renovictions.”
Now, landlords will need a city licence before they can evict a tenant for renovations. They’ll have to prove the work actually needs the unit to be empty, show proper building permits, and confirm tenants were informed of their rights.
City staff will review applications and investigate landlords who don’t follow the rules.
Waterloo is also adding a Tenant Support Liaison to help renters dealing with evictions or disputes, plus a $20,000 Tenant Support Fund to help tenants who need legal advice or advocacy. – Rae
