🍝 is back!

This week, we’re making a homemade pasta dish that was delectable and quickly became a crowd favourite! 🤌🏼

I started by roasting Roma tomatoes in the oven, then blended them into a creamy homemade sauce with ricotta cheese and fresh basil. Served over pasta with crispy chicken cutlets, this one came together into the ultimate comfort meal. 🍅🌿

It was so delicious that it’s officially making its way into our regular dinner rotation!

Sometimes the best meals are the ones you make from scratch. ❤️

🍜 is taking us to Thailand this week! 🇹🇭

We’re making homemade Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai, and let me tell you… this one was SO good! 🤤

Loaded with chicken, shrimp, two eggs, bell peppers, green onion, cilantro and crushed peanuts, all tossed with Pad Thai noodles and a delicious homemade sauce made with tamarind paste, fish sauce, oyster sauce, soya sauce and brown sugar.

The best part? It came together in just 20 minutes! 🙌 And this recipe made 4 large, restaurant-worthy portions!

Quick, easy, packed with flavour and definitely one I’ll be making again. ❤️

This week on , we’re getting cozy with a dish that might just convince you to say “I do” to dinner… 💍🍝

Introducing Marry Me Turkey Meatballs with Garlic Butter Zucchini Noodles! 🤤

I grabbed my ground turkey and fresh zucchini from Longos in Welland, both on discount, because delicious AND budget-friendly? That’s a win in my books! 🙌

I started by combining the ground turkey with breadcrumbs, egg and seasonings, then pan-fried those golden-brown meatballs to perfection. Next came the star of the show: that delectable Marry Me sauce made with the flavour-packed oil from sun-dried tomatoes, cream, chicken stock, salt, pepper and Parmesan. Once it reached a beautiful simmer, the meatballs went back in to finish cooking and soak up ALL that goodness. ❤️

While the sauce was doing its thing, I spiralled my zucchini into noodles and gave them a quick pan-fry with some garlic butter. 🧄🧈

The result? Tender, flavourful turkey meatballs swimming in a creamy, Parmesan-packed sun-dried tomato sauce, served over garlicky zucchini noodles. Comfort food without the guilt, and definitely a recipe worth falling in love with! 😍

A huge thank you to Daniel and Dominique of Boar & Barrel for an absolutely incredible backyard pig roast experience! 🐷🔥

From start to finish, everything was seamless. They took care of all the setup and takedown so we could relax and enjoy our event with our guests. The pig was cooked to perfection, the homemade sauces were unbelievable, and the side dishes were honestly to die for. We’ve had so many people tell us how amazing the food was!

What really stood out was Daniel and Dominique’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion for what they do. They made the entire experience stress-free and exceeded every expectation.

If you’re looking for catering that will leave a lasting impression, I can’t recommend Boar & Barrel enough. Thank you, Daniel and Dominique, for helping make our event so memorable. We’ll be recommending you to anyone looking for an unforgettable pig roast!
