Victoria’s summer market continues to show steady momentum and balanced conditions, with August sales stronger than we’ve seen in five years. Healthy inventory is giving buyers more choice and time to make thoughtful decisions.

August at a glance:

591 properties sold, up 12.6% from August 2025 and 12.2% fewer than July 2026

Condo sales: 175 units (↑15.1% YoY) 🏢

Single-family homes: 309 sold (↑15.3% YoY) 🏠

Active listings: 3,662 (↓4.8% from July, ↑1.7% YoY)

💡 What does this mean?

Buyers continue to be selective, with more time to compare properties, evaluate options and negotiate thoughtfully.

For sellers, today’s market highlights the importance of competitive pricing, preparation and presentation. Well-priced and well-presented homes are attracting the strongest interest.
