I LOVE my feminine energy 💕

One of the only things I miss about working in an office is getting dressed up with my heels and jewellery every day Monday through Friday.

Though that’s not nearly enough to make me want to transition back into a 9 to 5 😂 so I have found ways to honour my feminine and nurture that energy while running an online business full-time.

The number one thing that has helped me the most in business is accepting that I am a feminine being. Trying to force myself into the masculine way of running a business just doesn’t work for me. Sure, in the short term it is possible, but forcing this long-term can lead to burn out.

There certainly huge value & necessity to integrating masculine energy & structure into a business - and the realization that it is all about BALANCE is when everything shifted for me. Trying to force myself into being masculine in all aspects of business left me feeling unbalanced and caused unnecessary pressure, stress & anxiety.

There’s a beautiful dance that happens when you start to integrate masculine & feminine - in all aspects of life - including business. Here’s what works for me:

-creating a morning routine where I can support my feminine flow with movement, meditation, and nature
-communicating with compassion & empathy (not suppressing for the sake of ‘it’s just business’)
-balancing my intense analytical work with creative work
-Getting dressed up for the day and wearing my jewellery even if it’s just for myself

The feminine energy thrives in conditions of support. Knowing this, you can use your own structures and systems to support your natural flow. This integration will help you, and by extension, your business, thrive 🙌🏼

You are a powerful force, here's why 👇

I see this a lot in our industry. It's stressful, fast-paced, everything needs to be done yesterday and everyone wants a response to their email immediately. It's a lot.

But I often like to come back to this question, it helps me to reframe things.

I have been so blessed to build a business around how I want to show up in the world. I want to be a source of lightness and calm, not stressed out and short. ESPECIALLY when we are usually serving people who are already stressed out and sometimes going through some of the hardest times of their life.

Finding a way to show up with grace and compassion has been a game changer for me. Not only has it created more ease and calmness for me personally, but work goes smoother, people are kinder, my clients are happier, and I'm not the source of added stress to the people I serve.

Perhaps you're already there, you've already learnt this lesson, either way I invite you to tap into the WHY behind what you do. Is there a way you can bring more of WHO you are, how you want to show up in the world, into your work? Can you show more grace, bring more structure, more leadership maybe?

It's easy to get stuck in our habits and routines, but our work is an opportunity to show up. TRULY show up, and I've learned that instead of burning me out, this shift actually lights me up and pushes me to keep going.

As a legal assistant turned entrepreneur, the fear of leaving the security of my job initially held me back. However, taking that leap ignited a cascade of abundance—financially, personally, and in love—that surpassed my wildest dreams.

Ready to Launch Your Own Online Legal Assistant Business? 🚀

In less than a year, I quit my 9-5 and built a 6-figure business as a virtual paralegal. Now I've compiled all of my juicy trade secrets and I want to share them with you to get you to where I am quicker, with less time, and wayyyy less stress 😅

📚 Inside the 'Legal Assistant Launchpad' process:

1. Mindset, Mindset, Mindset! I had gotten to a point where there was NO reality in which I didn't succeed. I knew exactly what I wanted, and the WHY behind my passion to succeed. This why propelled me forward, even when things felt scary or unknown.

~Action Step~ What is YOUR Big Why? Do you want more time and financial freedom? Do you want to spend more time with your family, work from home, retire your husband? Do you want to build an empire? Getting in touch with this early will keep you on track as you progress, and motivate you to push forward.

2. Logistics! The reality of starting a business - name approval, registration, insurance etc., I did all of this while still working my 9-5. This was SO helpful because it gave me something to get excited about while I was being burnt out in my day job, but I still had a paycheck to rely on before going all in as an entrepreneur.

~Action Step~ Do your research, prove your concept, create a budget. If you decide you are ALL IN on moving forward, register your business, set up insurance, see a business/contract lawyer. Create your intake forms, onboarding forms, and set up a professional website.

3. Messy Action is 100% more effective than Non-Action! If you're committed to your success - just start. Start something, start somewhere, and piece by piece things will fall into place.

This has been one of the hardest lessons to implement in business. My entire career, I was trained to pay attention to the details, read and re-read every word, every document, and prepare every email with structured intention.

In business though, perfection is ambiguous - and success is not linear.

Growth, action, even messy action will bring you closer to success than overthinking and over analyzing. For me, this awareness that even though my learned skills of thorough analyzation help me to excel in my career, they don't need to permeate every area of my life. For example - going to the gym 2-3 times a week is better than telling myself I have to go 5-6 days a week to be successful, then getting down on myself because I can't meet my own unrealistic expectations.
