Butterfield Law - Bespoke Unbundled Legal Services

Butterfield Law - Bespoke Unbundled Legal Services Separation is never easy. We work hard to make it simple. We use negotiation, mediation, and litiga Our goal is to make your separation simple. Where do we start?

When couples have been together for a long time, had children, and built what they thought was going to be their future, separation turns their lives up side down. While there may be no really good way to separate, there are a lot of very bad ways. How do I make separation simple? My first task is to help you decide what sort of process works for your situation. This means looking at your relation

ship with your ex, your finances, and the needs of your family. We will tailor our services to meet your goals and budget. Simplicity reduces stress, conflict, and cost. We start with a telephone conversation. If our service will fit your needs, we arrange to meet. At that meeting, we will discuss your interests and lay out for you your choices. When you leave that meeting, you will know your options and how best to move forward. It is that simple.

When I wrote this in 2017, the minimum wage was not even $11. On June 1, 2021, the wage will finally surpass $15 when it increases to $15.20. Congratulations to all those who worked hard, lobbied politicians, and kept up the fight.

Despite years of incremental increases in the minimum wage, more than 600,000 people still live in poverty in B.C. On Sept. 15, B.C.’s minimum wage will increase to at least $11.25 per hour. As a. . .
