Christmas Day.

Not loud.
Not rushed.
Not performative.

A moment to sit with the year that was…

Christmas, for me, isn’t about perfection or full tables or shiny bows.
It’s about presence.
Gratitude.
Remembering those we carry in our hearts.
And quietly honouring how far we’ve come — even when the road wasn’t easy.

If this season finds you surrounded by love, hold it close.
If it finds you missing someone, know you’re not alone.
If it finds you standing in a new chapter, uncertain but hopeful — trust that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

May today bring you peace in whatever form you need it.
May you give yourself grace.

I woke up in a mood today… the kind where Christmas Eve just wasn’t Christmas-Eve-ing. 🎄😒

But in true Alex Lombardi style, I caught myself mid-grump and said: absolutely not.

So I did what I do best—
I threw on my elf costume 🧝‍♀️
Grabbed my magic microphone 🎤
And took to the streets to shift the energy.

Because here’s the thing:
✨ You don’t wait for the magic. You create it.
✨ You don’t need a perfect mood to show up—just a decision.
✨ And sometimes the fastest way to change how you feel is to give a little joy away.

Today was my reminder (maybe yours too):
If it doesn’t feel like Christmas… be Christmas.

Now excuse me while I spread cheer, laughter, and a little Lombardi chaos wherever I go. 💃🎄✨

A Christmas visit, Italian-style 🇮🇹🎄

Stopped by to see Antonio & Giovina — yes, those legends from my Grenadine Court sale this year.
I arrive like a proper Italian guest with a panettone in hand…

They respond by immediately giving me absolute s**t for a very random coffee incident from who-knows-when ☕️😅
(Details unclear. Passion very clear.)

Somehow — and I still don’t know how —
I escaped without being force-fed cookies until death 🍪🍪🍪
which tells me they either truly love me… or Christmas miracles are real.

Business relationship ➝ family vibes ➝ roasted with love.
Wouldn’t have it any other way ❤️✨

I had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Vincent Maida about the direct appeal letter that recently arrived in mailboxes across Vaughan.

Inside that letter is more than a donation slip.

I pulled up to the Annual Cortellucci Hospice Vaughan Christmas Basket Sale and did what I do best… caught people in the act of being incredible. 🎄💚

I grabbed Louie Chiano and Carmela Sisto—the two powerhouses who spearhead this whole thing—and asked them the simplest question:

“Why do you do it?”

And the way they answered? No rehearsed lines. No fluff. Just heart.
Because when a family needs hospice, they need more than care… they need comfort, dignity, and a community that shows up.

Louie + Carmela… you two are the kind of leaders that make Vaughan feel like home. 🤍
