We asked Tanya, our Family Law Associate, to share what she’s found most meaningful about mentoring an articling student at Mazzeo Law:
“Working with Daniel feels full circle. I know from experience that young lawyers flourish when they’re challenged and believed in. I try to give Daniel real responsibility, just like I was given, while also reminding him that growth takes time. He’s been part of the work from day one, trusted with real responsibility and supported as he grows. Details matter. Preparation matters. Confidence is built by doing the work and watching that confidence build never gets old.”
At Mazzeo Law, articling students aren’t on the sidelines. They’re part of the work, given the opportunity to grow through experience, guidance, and honest feedback. Watching that confidence build step by step is one of the most rewarding parts of the mentorship role.
