AUGUST MARKET STATS ARE OUT! 📊

Metro Vancouver’s housing market continued its downward trend to close out the summer, with sales and new listings both lower than last August. 🏡 While prices have softened across all market segments, buyers continue to have ample selection and more favourable conditions.

Here’s a little breakdown:

• Last month's sales were 4.6% fewer than a year before.
• There were 3% fewer homes listed than the previous year.
• The benchmark price for all home types was $1,081,900.

Home sales in Metro Vancouver fell nearly 10% compared to July last year, with apartment sales leading the decline. New listings also decreased, while the benchmark price for all residential properties remains above $1 million. 🏡 Here’s a little breakdown:

• Last month's sales were 9.8% fewer than a year before.
• There were 11.5% fewer homes listed than the previous year.
• The benchmark price for all residential properties was $1,088,800.
