What is ?
On May 1, 2021, introduced a revised no fault insurance program for British Columbians, which operates on the basis that the fault of the accident is irrelevant, and both parties are entitled to the same schedule of benefits post-accident.
Operating similarly to WorkSafeBC claims, an individual adjuster is in charge of your rights on a case-by-case basis. A no fault system also means that seriously injured individuals will have a lifelong relationship with ICBC. Rather than resolving their case with a fair settlement, no fault requires individuals to go back to ICBC weekly, monthly, and yearly, seeking needed care or wage loss benefits that are often insufficient.
This new insurance format is unjust, putting innocent individuals at risk. Here at No to No Fault, we’re fighting for the rights of British Columbians across the province.
