🚀 Exciting News from MEP Business Counsel!

Our team is growing! We are pleased to welcome Carmen Ribeiro, Tasha Sandhu, and Sheila Teng to MEP Business Counsel (“MEP”) as the newest Legal Assistants in our Business Law Group.

Carmen brings a calm and positive demeanor towards each file she handles, and the ability to adapt to changing surroundings. Outside of the office, she takes pleasure in cooking meals at home and is also a proud mom of two grown sons believing in bringing care and integrity to everything she does.

Backed by several years of experience in litigation support, Tasha has developed a foundation in managing deadlines and organizing workflows. When she is not at the office, Tasha can be found participating in trivia nights or hiking along the coastal trails of B.C.

Sheila maintains a steady presence ensuring that our clients and lawyers feel well supported. Sheila has many years of prior experience working with solicitors at local and national firms. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family including their Goldendoodle, Monty.

🚀 Exciting News from MEP Business Counsel!

Our team is growing! We're pleased to welcome Adrienne Adams to Michael, Evrensel & Pawar LLP (“MEP”) as the newest Associate in our Business Law Group.

Adrienne was called to the BC Bar in 2023 and brings sharp insight and practical experience to a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance, corporate restructuring, commercial agreements, and strategic M&A transactions. Whether advising on exit strategies or growth through capital raising and acquisitions, Adrienne advises corporate clients on all aspects of their business. Before joining MEP, Adrienne practiced at one of Western Canada’s top-tier business law firms, with a focus on private companies, charities, and not-for-profits.

Outside the office, she thrives on adventure and exploring new travel destinations, but you can also find her hitting the greens for a friendly round of golf with her family.

Our team is growing! We are pleased to announce the addition of Vanessa David to our Business Law Team, and Bianca Domingo to our Entertainment Law Team.

Vanessa joins our Business Law Group as a Legal Assistant. Over two decades, Vanessa has consistently demonstrated providing exceptional client service in the legal industry, maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Although her dedication speaks for itself, she also finds joy in exploring new cultures and supporting her children as a proud Hockey Mom.

Bianca joins our Entertainment Law Group as a Practice Coordinator. She has a diverse skill set, blending administrative expertise with legal and financial knowledge. Bianca has gained valuable experience with a boutique law firm, and Notary Public where her client management skills developed and strengthened. Outside of the office, her passion lies in travel, reading, and teaching children of different ages about architecture and visual arts.

Our team is growing! We are pleased to announce the addition of associates Jessica Jacobson to our Entertainment Law Team, and Aisha Tung to our Business Law Team. Please also join us in welcoming the addition of Mustafa Matawala as our Accountant!

Jessica joins our Entertainment Law Group as an Associate. With her background in business law, as well as her pre-law experience working in the entertainment and technology spaces, Jessica has a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist influential clients in the film, television and media industry. Outside the office, she is a frequent visitor to the Rio Theatre for movies and grilled cheese.

Aisha joins our Business Law Group as an Associate. Her primary practice is focused on mergers & acquisitions, corporate/commercial, and securities matters for private companies. While her extensive experience in handling multi-jurisdictional transactions is a strong suit, she enjoys an afternoon out taking a putt at the local golf course.

Mustafa joins us in the role of Accountant, handling day-to-day transactions and analyzing financial records. He is committed to maintaining the highest standards in financial management but also likes to kick back with a game of table tennis or pool with friends and family.
