First of all, it means a lot coming from Corey and Gato. Thanks to Corey’s philosophical approach to Jiu-Jitsu and Gato’s highly technical abilities; I’m beginning to truly understand the idea that slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.

I also want to thank all my amazing training partners for showing up and putting in the work, no matter what life throws our way. This journey is more than just training, it’s a reminder of growth, connection and purpose.

Sometime early last year I set a goal of being a white belt that’s not really a white belt, guess I have achieved that at this point.

Well, white belt has given me so many memories and amazing friends from all walks of life which is not replaceable with anything else, I still miss my time at with amazing coaches .5 as I wouldn’t be here without you; and I did not forget my friends in Ottawa.

I am very glad to have Corey, Gato and Clay as my coach, they are all absolute beast with very different styles, that’s the fun part about the game, personality plays into style and forms various expression.

But again, belt doesn’t really matter, it is all about acquiring skill set and experience what Jiu jitsu has to offer; I have set another target in my mind now, let’s just smesh everybody :)
