The Canadian housing market continues to shift, creating a different conversation for both buyers and sellers.
More inventory and moderating prices can provide buyers with greater choice and negotiating opportunities. At the same time, sellers may find themselves competing more directly for attention.
But remember, there is no single “Canadian real estate market.”
Conditions can change dramatically by city, neighbourhood and even price range.
That is why I always encourage clients to look beyond the headlines.
Understand your local market. Know your financial position. Consider your timeline and goals. Then build your strategy around those factors.
You do not need to perfectly time the market.
You need to understand the market you are entering.
