One of the hardest conversations in real estate — but one of the most important.
Sometimes buyers feel frustrated because nothing feels “perfect.”
But the reality is…
If every home feels like it’s missing something, it’s usually one of three things:
• the budget needs to increase
• the wish list needs to adjust
• or the timing may not be right yet
And that’s okay.
No home is perfect — regardless of price point. Even buyers spending significantly more still compromise on something:
location, layout, finishes, lot size, parking, future renovations, natural light, storage… something.
Our job as realtors is not to show homes endlessly “just because.” Our job is to help clients weigh trade-offs and identify the best overall fit for their lifestyle, goals, and future.
The strongest buyers are not the ones who find the “perfect” home. They’re the ones who know which compromises they can comfortably live with — and which ones they can’t.
That clarity changes everything in a home search. Something to think about… 🙂
