I handle litigious issues ranging from breach of contract, wrongful dismissal, breach of commercial lease, breach of warranty, post-closing real estate lawsuits, claims against condo corporations, social media libel or slander lawsuits, claims relating to defective workmanship, manufacture defect and design defect matters, as well as my newly expanded area of tax litigation and appeals related to disputing notices of reassessment. I have experience litigating in the Superior Court, Divisional Court, and Small Claims Court, and have a track record of obtaining consistent results for clients. Please note Small Claims increased its jurisdiction up to $35,000 in 2020.

Please note I do not handle litigation matters related to family law or criminal law. Please get in touch for a litigation consultation.

I am pleased to announce expansion of my litigation practice into the area of tax disputes.

If you received a Notice of Assessment or a Notice of Reassessment and disagree with the CRA---perhaps the CRA has disallowed certain expenses, or ballooned your income, or treated the sale of a non-residence second property as business income rather than capital--the first step is filing a Notice of Objection.

Contact me to inquire about my fees and filing a Notice of Objection which is needed to preserve your rights to appeal to the Tax Court of Canada: [email protected]
