Went to do a local business spotlight. Came out wanting to be a florist 💐
Amy, owner of , is basically a literal flower of fun-loving positivity. Don’t know if it’s the flowers keeping her in a good mood, or the other way around.
And Betty… absolute magician with both flowers and the lens 📸 Her work on is honestly legendary 🤯
Had way too much fun with these ladies while totally NOT getting in the way of their very busy Mother’s Day rush.
Honestly, one of the lowkey underrated parts of living in Lawrence Park North is having thoughtful little neighbourhood gems like Gilded & Green right around the corner.
Beautiful spaces. Great people. Thoughtful businesses that quietly make a neighbourhood feel more connected, livable, and full of character.
A lovely reminder that real estate is never just about the house.

These assets often require a more targeted approach rather than simply going straight to MLS. The value here wasn’t just about the unit itself. It was about understanding the bigger picture surrounding the corridor, the infrastructure investment coming into the area, and the groups already strategically positioned within the complex. 🏢
The eventual buyer understood that immediately. During negotiations, they openly mentioned this was never something they would’ve pursued had it been on MLS.

Had so much fun hanging out with Bo at the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Centre at UofT. 💡
Bo grew his first Kibo Sushi on Parliament to the absolute powerhouse franchising brand that it is today - 🍣 .to ☕️ .to 🍽️and more to come believe it or not!
Loved talking retail, real estate and the restaurant scene in Toronto. The challenges surrounding the restaurant industry in Toronto means needing to constantly innovate and staying ahead of the curve - which Kibo does really well. His other key for success is knowing how to partner with the right stakeholders for longevity of growth. Split the profits, sure, but also split the risk and time obligations, allowing for a further more successful journey. I could write a lot more about everything we talked about (including our own family’s experience in this industry) but it was a memorable moment when he said,

“Wow, you really enjoy talking about restaurants and real estate!” 😄
Yup. That’s me. It was just fun hearing it from a major franchise operator like Bo, whom I immensely respect.
“Kibo” means hope, and not only do I wish them the best on their path to complete franchisor-supplier domination, but also on Bo’s other passion - bringing the next generation up ☝🏻
