Did you or someone you know work at the former USW plant Neelon Casting in Sudbury, ON? These employees would have been members of USW Local 2020 when the foundry closed in 2007.

In conjunction with the Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc. (OHCOW), USW Local 2020 WSIB representative Jessica Montgomery has recently discovered a cluster of occupational diseases that has been directly linked to this former workplace.

The local are planning an intake clinic which will be conducted either virtually or by private interviews, to adhere to social distancing measures, and will be working closely with the OHCOW to assist and initiate claims for past employees.

If you know anyone who may have previously worked for Neelon Casting/Affina/Dana Brake Parts, please contact Jessica Montgomery at 705-675-2461 ext. 228 or by email at [email protected].
