We have video of what appears to be multiple officers tackling, pinning down, and arresting a cyclist during a TPS stop sign trap on the Martin Goodman Trail this weekend.

Cyclist - "What did I do wrong?"

Cop - "You didn't stop."

If true, this is a grossly excessive use of force for a traffic infraction in an area that has a poorly placed stop sign and should be a yield. We call upon and Cllr to look into this.

Another video sees the same officers telling cyclists at another point in the day to move on and not record their ticketing.

We cannot have another summer of ineffectual and disproportionate anti-cyclist blitz' while motorists mow down pedestrians at intersections across Toronto.

Last week we spoke to close to 200 e-bike delivery riders about their rights and responsiblities on the roadways. It was our second set of workshops attempting to address community safety concerns and hear from these riders about the issues they face. Super informative, super fun and super proud of our partners Toronto Bike Brigade, Rovélo Creative and Cycle Torontocletoronto and this initiative.

Education > Enforcement.

City of Toronto, Uber, Skip the Dishes, hit us up, we can help facilitate more workshops.

Our friends doing some fantastic work here w some albeit really upsetting but predictable news...check them out and the related Star article about speeding on Parkside after the premier removed speed cameras:

"This year has seen a 235 per cent increase in the number of vehicles travelling 60+ km/h compared to the same period last year, according to a new data analysis by Safe Parkside, a residents group that has been advocating for road safety improvements on Parkside Drive.

The speed limit on Parkside Drive is 40 km/h."
