SpringLaw EP 71: Workplace Harassment, Investigations & Prosecutions

Workplace harassment issues can escalate quickly if they are not handled properly from the start. This webinar walks employers through how to recognize harassment concerns, run fair and defensible investigations, and understand when issues may lead to regulatory action or prosecution.

Why you can’t miss this:
• Workplace harassment law now includes emails, chats, video calls, and social media
• You may be required to investigate even if no one makes a formal complaint
• New enforcement tools mean faster fines and greater risk for employers and leaders

If it happens on Slack, Zoom, email, or group chat, it is still a workplace issue. And the legal risk for employers is rising.

Recent updates to workplace laws make it clear: virtual harassment counts. That means inappropriate messages, offensive comments, and online behaviour can trigger your duty to investigate and respond.

If your policies and training still focus on in-person conduct, you may already be behind.
