Litigation Law Clerk
We are seeking a law clerk with a minimum of 3 years litigation experience to support our team of lawyers.
You will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of primarily plaintiff-side litigation matters. Your duties will include opening new matters, assembling affidavits of documents, mediation briefs, and motion materials, communicating with class members as well as obtaining and summarizing claim documents and plaintiff productions. You will also be responsible for overseeing the electronic filing of documentation, data entry and data management, correspondence, and emails. You will file documents at various levels of court when required.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized and hold a Law Clerk Diploma (or equivalent) with a thorough knowledge of the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure. Strong Microsoft Office and legal software platform (PCLaw preferred) skills are a must.
