KRMC is pleased to welcome Noah Solomon and Dawood Shimza to our Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation Department for the 2025-2026 articling term. Noah, a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, is returning to KRMC after a successful term as our 2L summer student. Dawood, a graduate of Queen’s University, Faculty of Law, joins us for the first time this year.

KRMC was honoured to sponsor a hole at the B’nai Brith “Chip Away at Hate” Golf Tournament on July 21, 2025, an important initiative promoting tolerance, inclusion and the fight against antisemitism. KRMC’s sponsored hole was dedicated to the memory of one of our founding partners, Jules Kronis. On June 27, 2025, David was called to the Bar of Ontario, marking an important milestone in his legal career.

KRMC is pleased to announce that Mehrnaz Asad has joined the firm as an associate in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights Department. Mehrnaz was called to the bar in 2021. She holds a JD degree from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Shiraz. She previously worked at a firm in Markham in commercial litigation.
