I have found myself regularly fascinated by what is contemplated in law and legislation, and what is not, as well as origin stories and previous legislation. I learned about some of the stipulations about names, how you are entitled to be referred to in Ontario if you were not born in Ontario, and that whatever name you had in June of 1939 is still effect (if you are still alive) regardless of the Enactment of the Change of Name Act.
