As the schools remain closed due to COVID-19 pandemic, the government of Ontario partnered with schools to provide iPads with free wireless data plans to students who may not have access to the province’s online learning tools.Speaking at Queen’s Park, Doug Ford and Health Minister Christine Elliott, Education Minister Stephen Lecce said that more than 21,000 iPads were being “deployed” by school boards.

The Canadian government leaves no one behind. Understanding that students and fresh graduates must be facing hardships in finding jobs during COVID-19, PM Justin Trudeau announced $9B in the new funding for students.
In this, the eligible post secondary students can receive up to $1,250 a month from May to August and if you are taking care of someone else or have a disability, that amount increases to $1,750 monthly. Along with this, working students who are earning less than $1,000 per month can also apply.
