๐จ๐ฆ EXPRESS ENTRY ALERT: COULD YOU EARN MORE CRS POINTS?
Big changes are coming to Canadaโs Express Entry system on November 3, 2026! ๐
If youโre working in Canada or planning your pathway to permanent residence, here are three important things you need to know:
๐น Additional CRS points: Eligible candidates could receive additional points for qualifying Canadian work experience or a qualifying job offer in a high-wage occupation.
๐น Important job offer change: An LMIA will no longer be required for qualifying job offers for specified Express Entry purposes, subject to applicable requirements.
๐น You canโt combine both options: If you qualify under both the Canadian work experience and job-offer options, IRCC will award whichever gives you more points.
But hereโs the catch: not every occupation or job offer will qualify! Your NOC, the applicable wage level and your individual circumstances matter.
๐ Are you already in the Express Entry pool? Now is the time to understand how these changes could affect your profile.
