Kinna-aweya Legal Clinic “Kinna-aweya” is the Ojibway word meaning “everyone” The clinic actively participates in law reform in order to improve and change the laws whenever possible.

The clinic provides legal advice and representation in most areas of poverty law including:* Ontario Works (welfare)* Ontario Disability Support Program* Canada Pension Plan Disability* Tenant rights* Employment insurance*Canada Child Benefit/Income TaxWe also organize and present community legal education workshops and work with the community for organized, positive change.

Join the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre and the Métis Nation of Ontario for a free Community BBQ and Information Session!

Beefcakes Food Truck will be serving hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, fries, and drinks to participants who receive a food ticket after visiting the information hall (while supplies last).
