Christopher M. Arnone, Partner at Atwood Labine LLP in Thunder Bay, is appointed a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario in Thunder Bay. Justice Arnone replaces Justice F.B. Fitzpatrick (Thunder Bay), who elected to become a supernumerary judge effective July 17, 2026.

We are pleased to welcome Hunter MacKenzie, who has joined our firm as an associate lawyer.

Hunter practices in the area of family law. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2025. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Hunter holds an Honours B.A. in Political Science from Lakehead University, and a J.D. from Lakehead's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. While in law school, he completed his practice placement at Atwood Labine LLP.
