Another wedding season has come to an end for me (with the exception of a couple around the Christmas season)

Well, the pandemic changed lots of things over the last 3 years, including weddings.

The majority have become smaller, more intimate events.

I also backed off on posts about ceremonies I was performing, simply because it felt like the right thing to do.

But, be aware that I am still out there doing ceremonies and meeting awesome people.

Still some dates available for this Summer/Fall. I already have a number of bookings for 2024 and yes....I already have one booking for 2025.

Admittedly, I became a JP for an extra revenue stream, and I thought I may be good at it.

The bonus is that I’ve met some awesome couples and I’ve been able to be a part of their special day.

What a view for a beautiful Sunday afternoon ceremony. No, weddings don’t have to be on Friday or Saturday.

Congrats to all the couples who’ve trusted me with their ceremonies the last couple of months. It’s certainly been a different wedding season!

And, I know it may not have been the wedding you had originally planned, but I hope collectively, we still made it a day to always remember!

To everyone that was planning a wedding this summer, I know it was a trying time. To postpone, or go ahead?

Allison and Shaun said they didn’t care if it was just 5 people, today was going to be their day! I was very happy for them that restrictions were lifted in time and they were able to have close family and friends join them for their special day today!

Congrats to both of you! And thank you for allowing me to be a part of it!

Gatherings of 50 people are now allowed for weddings!

Hello everyone!

I know the 2020 wedding season is getting hit hard as a result of the pandemic. I feel terrible for the couples who've planned so much for their day, only to have to postpone and reschedule for a later date. It will certainly be a story to tell the grand kids some day.

A lot of 2020 weddings are rescheduling for next year, meaning it will be tougher and tougher to get many wedding services, including a JP for 2021.

If you're planning on getting married next year, and are in need of a JP, feel free to contact me to see what dates are still available, or to have any other questions answered.
