Our cities name sake the “White Rock” is rich with several different histories!
Which one is your favorite? The fact that it’s a glacial erratic & was left by the last Ice Age? That is was used as a navigational landmark by the sailers and fishermen? Or the indigenous historical legend of how the sea and land live in peace and harmony along our shores?

The White Rock Rotary Club has been an integral part of our community since 1955 and have contributed to White Rock in numerous ways, such as, Dr. Hogg Park, the Rotary Field House, Semiahmoo Club & Playground, Bryant Park and has been a major supporter for our Peace Arch Hospital, the Centre for Active Living and many many more! What are some of the other organizations that contribute to our community?

The White Rock Museum & Archives was built in 1912 as a train station. In 1975 it was given to the city and became our local memory keeper! The museums original ticket office has been restored to its 1954 appearance. The museum has more than 5000 digitized photos!
