There isn’t one answer that works for every family.

It depends on your equity, financing, how easily your current home may sell, what you’re hoping to buy and how comfortable you are carrying the risk of two transactions.

That’s why I prefer to work out the numbers before we make a move.

We can look at what your home may realistically sell for, what you would have available toward your next purchase and what your comfortable monthly payment looks like.

You may discover you’re closer to moving up than you thought. Or we may decide waiting makes more sense.

Either answer is okay. The important part is knowing.

Congratulations to my wonderful sellers on the successful sale of their beautifully updated home at 231, 20071 24 Avenue, Langley! 🎉🏡

The Fraser Valley market is not impossible. It is simply different than it was a year ago.
Buyers have more inventory to choose from, which means more time and more comparison before they commit.

Sellers still have real opportunity, but the days of pricing high and waiting are behind us. What is working now is preparation, accurate pricing, and strong presentation from day one.
