Yesterday was a super special day, receiving my purple belt in Jiu Jitsu after years of training. 🟪 Jiu Jitsu has been amazing, Pedro has created a big family at Frontline and everywhere you look you see friends. We all live different lives, but we all have the love of Jiu Jitsu that we share.

I started in 2015, got my blue belt in 2016, and then regrettably took a long break while starting real estate in 2017 to get my business off and running successfully. I wanted to start back up in 2020 but with covid and having Everly, that was put on pause until 2022, when I told my self I want to get better and start consistently training again. I’m so glad I did, physically and mentally I think it’s the best sport/hobby there is ❤️

I hope to one day get Everly into Jiu Jitsu, I think she’d love it too!

Team Everly, we’re fundraising and riding in The Kids with Cancer Society family fundo bike ride for our 3rd time this year ❤️🎗️

This society has been instrumental in helping us during the toughest time of our life, we know first hand that the funding goes to such an amazing cause in helping children and families going through the battle of childhood cancer.

We never ever thought that this could happen to us, especially with a newborn baby. But we’re so thankful for organizations that exist locally like The Kids with Cancer Society, it feels so good to have their support always.

If you’d like to join our team for a 5km or 11km bike ride, we’d love to have you join us! We would also be so appreciative for any donation made in honor of our Team Everly. Every dollar helps so much!

Everly has been cancer free since 2022! We’re so grateful for how incredibly strong and extraordinary she is. She powers through anything in front of her.

She does have development delays related to her autism and cerebral palsy and having such a tough start to life, but she is learning new things every day and has made incredible progress in the last year. She’s walking lots now, and is learning some words and can understand things we say to her. With the help of doctors and the right medication, her epilepsy/seizures are under control and we are so thankful for that!

She’s been enjoying summer camps this summer, and is about to go into her second year of preschool in the pals program. Her favourite activity right now is swinging on her swing set and throwing anything she can get her hands on, down our staircase lol.

We appreciate all of your support so much! Especially in supporting us in this fundraising event. Last year team Everly came in second place, raising about $12,000 to help kids battling cancer. We were blown away, you guys really are so incredible!!

This cold can’t stop me from selling homes, I love it! ❄️😆

I used to work outside in this 10-12 hours a day, sometimes hundreds of feet in the air, surrounded by nothing but cold steel and chilling air. I feel extremely spoiled now, that’s why I’ll always show homes no matter the weather. Surprisingly some of my favourite homes I’ve sold have been during extreme cold snaps or blizzards.

Yesterday another realtor told me I was the only one brave enough to show her brand new listing all day, and it was a super nice home at a great price. I was kind of shocked to be honest lol.

Finally I lucked out with a good photo of me at Jiu Jitsu, usually all the other photos I’m getting my ass kicked 😅 even though I get my ass kicked a lot, I love it. It’s an incredible work out, a ton of fun, a super useful skill, and everyone there is awesome.

I can’t wait until we can get Everly into it one day, I think she’ll love it!

It’s been a great and oddly warm Christmas season so far, but I’m really hoping for a White Christmas! It’s time for the snow already ❄️ ⛄️!!! Who else is with me?

Holy moly, what a photo! I'm literally so excited to announce what I've been working on for the better part of this year! I just launched and went live with our very own brokerage, Park Realty! 🌳

What a journey it's been so far building it from scratch, from completing the extensive amount of licensing to become a broker and open a brokerage (5 licenses to be exact 🤪), legal stuff, finding the best technology available to help us serve our clients better, finding the perfect office space (right next to and obviously! 😉), getting the branding just right, ordering swag, finding incredible staff and team mates, setting up all the business bank accounts, more legal stuff, furnishing the office, the list goes on and on lol!

All while still working everyday helping my clients buy and sell homes, spending time with family, playing hockey, training Jiu Jitsu, and still somehow squeezed in binge watching tv shows late at night lol. It's been a busy year to say the least, but it's been so incredible, I wouldn't change it for the world, I love being busy and spending time with people I love and doing fun things! I would definitely love to do some more travelling next year though, it's been tough to fit that in this year.

My business partner Matt Unrau and I are both ecstatic for this next chapter in our lives, this is just the beginning, we have big things planned!!

And don't worry, we still service all of Edmonton and area even though our office is in Sherwood Park 🙂

Oh and we're finally moved in to our office!
