Last evening, we had the opportunity to recognize and celebrate two remarkable Aamjiwnaang Kweyag at the Anishinabek Nation Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Please, join us in congratulating Sara Plain and Pauline Williams!
• Sara was nominated for role as Health Director, demonstrating exceptional leadership, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the health and well-being of our community. Sara has played a key role in advancing initiatives that strengthen culturally grounded care, promote community wellness, and building meaningful partnerships both within and beyond Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
• Pauline was nominated for her work in education and culture. Pauline is a deeply respected knowledge keeper and community leader whose contributions have had a lasting impact on Aamjiwnaang First Nation. Through her guidance, teachings, and commitment to cultural values, she has helped strengthen community connections, support youth and families, and preserve our traditions for future generations.
