Business Development Assistant

Welink does not only assist experienced professionals to find good matches when they want to change jobs or career directions but also new graduates, international students, and new immigrants. Welink collaborates with credited local immigration company to help candidates to make immigration-oriented career plans as well.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in a recognized Canadian university and a minimum of two years’ experiences from similar positions.
• Excellent skills in business administration, logistics management and computer information technology with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Sufficient experiences in marketing and sales, highly efficient in conducting brand promotion, business development, and resource integration.
• Outstanding interpersonal skill; competent in developing good relationships with business partners and clients.
• Effective in following up with clients and optimizing program revenues.
• Strong emotional intelligence and attention to detail; flexible, reliable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment to support the continued success of company projects.
• English native speaker preferred, bilingual in English and Mandarin an asset.
• Ability to make use design software an asset.
Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage and operate the Welink platform including website, social media, internal network etc. Construct and promote the platform through branding techniques; competent and efficient in writing articles, updating items, and promoting key services.
• Reach out and connect with employers and business partners, maintain good partnership while optimizing both parties’ interest through resource integration.
• Analyze labor market and build most up-to-date database regarding each job field and the requirements of each occupation.
• Give job-seekers career advice and conduct mock interviews.
• Screen resumes and match candidates with proper positions.
• Make marketing materials such as posters, ppts and actively participate in marketing activities.
