Your primary responsibilities will be:

-To handle all aspects of residential real estate transactions from beginning to end.
-Preparing legal documents for purchase, sale, and mortgage transactions, ordering title insurance policies, etc.
-Communicating effectively with lawyers, clients, real estate agents, banks, and mortgage brokers, and dealing with post-closing matters.
-Some familiarity with Teraview and Unity is preferred.
-Private mortgage experience is an asset.

Good news: a purchase agreement in a project or phase of a residential pre construction condo signed after January 1, 2020, will now include a mandatory information sheet that will outline some of the risks of buying a pre-construction condo. This adds additional warnings for buyers that the project may never be completed and encourages buyers to review the agreement with a lawyer. Ultimately, it allows buyers to be better informed of the risks of buying a residential pre-construction condo.
