Thursday, August 27th we will be closing early at 3pm for a staff meeting and Friday August 28th we will be closed over the lunch hour from 12pm to 1pm for staff training.

💙 July 30 is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

Human trafficking happens in communities across Canada, and it can affect people of any age, gender, or background. It is a crime that often relies on manipulation, coercion, threats, or the abuse of power to exploit another person.

Today is an opportunity to raise awareness, challenge misconceptions, and stand with survivors.

There are ways we can all help:
🔹 Learn the warning signs of human trafficking.
🔹 Check in on someone if you're concerned about their safety.
🔹 Support survivors with compassion and without judgment.
🔹 Share trusted resources and help raise awareness.

Awareness is one of the strongest tools we have in preventing exploitation. By learning more and looking out for one another, we can help create safer communities for everyone.
