Our office is heartbroken to share that we have lost our dear friend and colleague Heather Swan after a brief battle with cancer.

Many of our clients know Heather from the almost 40 years that she has worked with us. The empathy and dedication she showed towards our clients extended beyond the walls of the office, and we are forever thankful for her devotion.

Not only was Heather an integral part of our team, but a beloved friend to us all. We will forever cherish the time we spent with her and have decades of fond memories to be grateful for. As we mourn the loss of our friend, we send our love to her friends and family during this time.

We miss you, dear friend. The world feels a little less bright without you.

A funeral mass for Heather will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 7th, at Our Lady of Mercy Church (155 Walton Street, Port Hope).

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation by cheque to Ed's House in her memory.

This past May, our office was honoured to have celebrated our 75th Anniversary at Dalewood Golf & Country Club.

Our office is mourning the loss of our dear John Maedel, who worked for our office for many years and, more importantly, was a treasured friend. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Metropolitan Community Church (115 Simpson Avenue, Toronto) on Saturday, February 24th at 11 a.m., with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Metropolitan Community Church for their programs helping LGBTQ youth and others.

Our office received a little makeover this afternoon to get ready for it's filming debut!

Not to worry - the staff and lawyers at Mann McCracken are still inside working hard (with our same familiar faces - no makeovers for us!).

We are still open as per our usual hours, right between our neighbours "the Falcon Tavern" and "Frati Brothers Pawn Shop"!
