Tesota Paralegal

Tesota Paralegal The Government of Ontario realized there was a huge gap in legal services and the ability for people to afford professional legal representation.

Boutique paralegal firm providing legal consultations, representation of Landlords at the LTB, representation in Small Claims, Notary and Apostille Services and Affidavits of Ex*****on for Wills It was the Governments quest to empower these people to be able to secure legal representation from a qualified legal services practitioner, such as a Paralegal. The parameters in which a paralegal can p

ractice are changing everyday and as they change they receive extra training in addition to what they learnt in college. Paralegals receive extensive concentrated training in certain areas of law, and offer expert service in the areas of Small Claims Court (claims up to $35,000), Provincial Offences (such as traffic tickets, liquor control offences and bylaws infractions), approximately 400 Tribunals (such as Landlord and Tenant, Workplace Safety, Statutory Accident Benefit and Ontario Human Rights complaints) and Summary Conviction in Criminal Court (up to 6 months imprisonment and $500 in fines). The advantages of hiring a paralegal are the costs. Their rates are approximately half of a lawyers. We are honest, have integrity, work extremely hard and want to help people. We are thorough in preparing cases, personable, approachable and we love what we do. When you love what you do, it's never like work! It's about serving our clients to the highest standard.
