⚠️ Major U.S. Immigration Update: Adjustment of Status May Become Much Harder

Adjustment of Status (AOS) is the process that allows certain individuals already inside the United States to apply for permanent residence (a Green Card) without leaving the country. AOS is now considered an "extraordinary form of relief".

This announcement means that applicants will have to pursue consular processing instead and leave the USA while waiting for their Green Cards.
