Bedtime drawing with my kid started off as a simple castle.
Somehow it turned into a full‑scale siege of Constantinople by the Turks, complete with Ottoman cannons.

I asked what else was missing, and he said a monster.
So I drew one on the castle wall, then asked which side it was on.
Turns out it’s with the attackers.

So in my son’s version of history, the Eastern Roman Empire fell to a monster 😂
