Sharing the word in support of the Stavely Parkland 4H Club. Come check out their show (June 1) and sale (June 2) at Silver Slate Arena! Mosquito Creek Law is so proud to support two of their members, Brooke Vang and Mya Hall, who would like to share some information about their projects:
Member: Brooke Vang (Lamb)
Years in 4-H: 4 years
About my Projects: This year I have 5 projects including my equine Smarty, mature ewe Nibb, yearling ewe Latte, ewe lamb Athena and market lamb Hercules. Hercules is a Arcott Southdown X and he is a well built lamb that is thick throughout. Over winter break I grafted him onto one of my ewes that had a single and she sure did a nice job raising him.

Years in 4-H: 1 year
About my Projects: This year I have a market steer project named Teddy. He is a Red Angus Simmental X that I purchased from Timber Ridge Land and Cattle in Stavely. Teddy can be stubborn at times, but he is also very cuddly and has been a great animal to work with. As this is my first year in 4-H, I have learned so much already, from the small things to the bigger responsibilities that come with raising and showing a steer. I have really enjoyed the experience and am excited to continue learning and improving. Teddy is raised on a top quality feed program and will produce premium Alberta beef that would be a great addition to your freezer. I look forward to showing Teddy at Achievement Day and the sale.
