Now for this post…what is it you ask…

Well…

Let me take a moment to share something close to my heart, my tech platform, Fidu.

This past week, we headed to Montreal, Quebec for .

In 2 days, I did 8 pitches. What a whirlwind!

Learned a ton. Got amazing feedback. Had a hiccup in the last pitch (on the main stage at that 😩) but I recovered!

Reflecting on Fidu making top 10 across all categories - Best of Fest, Women in Tech, & Black Entrepreneurship…

So many wins -

Then finding out we got even further and made Top 5 Best of the Fest!!! 🙌🏽

Plus…
Connected w/dope ass founders ✅
Made solid investor connections ✅
Elevated the awareness of Fidu ✅
Got customer referrals ✅

And - the best one - finally met my co-founder, Blaine, in person! (..we started working together in the pandemic and well - he’s in Canada and I’m in the US!) 🎉

I’ve been on this journey to disrupt the legal industry for years.

But - It didn’t start that way.

It started with me hating hourly and wanting to find a better way to serve my clients.

And now, 15 years of practicing law later and 10 years of ditching the billable hour for good… in exchange for subscription and flat fees…
