Not every mall is coming into this pandemic world from the same starting point."

Deloitte report says shift needed from 'tired and broken model' of current food courts as shoppers find fewer reasons to go to the mall

The significant impact of COVID-19 has been felt globally and as the situation evolves Canadian and local business leaders must be prepared to deal with a range of scenarios. It is also difficult to assess how a court will tackle these questions particularly because the impact of COVID-19 is still unfolding daily.

While some essential businesses are open as per Premier Legault's decision earlier this week, many businesses will experience delays and other issues in the transaction process.

While we encourage everyone during this period to work together and find solutions as we mitigate this new business landscape, we will be looking at "force majeure" clauses to see how real estate and business transactions can move along.

Given the current state of affairs, it is likely that a court will find that COVID-19 is an unforeseeable event outside the control of either party.

We are here for you. We will get through this.

Even if your home inspection turns up clean, it is nice to have that peace of mind. It can seem like an unnecessary expense, especially when your new home purchase is already squeezing your budget. However, the cost of a home inspection is worth it!

It is better to pay $400–$500 for a report you don't need, than to skip it and pay $25,000 for a new roof within a year of buying your new home and not have the ability to demand that the seller reimburse you for those expenses.

At our law firm, we can assist you from the moment you are contemplating a property purchase so you can have the peace of mind.

在我们的律师事务所,我们从您打算购买房地产的那一刻起就可以为您提供帮助,使您高枕无忧!

There is a big problem with the home inspection industry that many buyers don’t know about: pretty much anyone can call themselves a “home inspector” in Quebec.

In the context of the latest turmoil in Sino-US relations, rising interest rates and tighter yields, Asian outbound property investment is being driven by the quest for enhanced yields and for diversification overseas. While activity has moderated, as Chinese buying slows, investors from Hong Kong, and from Singapore and South Korea, among other countries, remain active.
